The Levittown Public Schools Office of Assessments, Data & ESL provides a variety of services for the students of the district:
Centralized Registration
Registration for all new students takes place at Levittown Memorial in the Office of Assessments, Data & ESL. Kindergarten registration takes place in the late winter, early spring of the year prior to enrollment. All other transfer students can be registered by calling 516-520-8300 x 534.

English as a Second Language
English Language Learners are provided with additional instructional support in our ESL program. ESL is offered at Abbey Lane, Northside, and Summit Lane Elementary Schools, Salk Middle School and MacArthur High School. Students continue to receive services until they test proficient on the New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test.
Universal Prekindergarten
The Office of Assessments, Data & ESL provides and Central Registration administers the NYS UPK grant on behalf of the district. The grant provides funding for half day pre-kindergarten education for up to 135 resident children. Due to the overwhelming demand for this program, a lottery is held each year in May to determine eligibility. Check the district website starting in January for additional information.

State Testing & Reporting
The Office of Assessments, Data & ESL provides and Central Registration is responsible for coordinating the administration, scoring and reporting of the following state tests:
- Grades 3-8 English Language Arts
- Grades 3-8 Mathematics
- Grades 4 & 8 Science
- Grades K-12 NYSESLAT Exam
In addition, the Coordinator of the department is responsible for maintaining the district data in the NYS Data Repository and for verifying the reports used in the creation of the annual school report card.
